Mission: I hope my expressions through art glorify God and promote His Creation.
I have loved horses and drawing my whole life. My mom was an artist and art teacher and my dad was also artistic. Taking art was on-going for me all the way into college. For several years I concentrated on my husband and children. Then, I began working on my art again, exhibiting and selling my paintings. With a distinctictive style and years of experience, I built a small business. The rest is history!
History
As an award-winning artist of 30 plus years, and a Signature Member of the National Society of Artists, my emphasis has been mainly horses and landscapes in various media including Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Mixed media and Graphite/Pencil. Through the years I have been involved in numerous Juried and non-Juried art shows and five solo exhibits. My painting, "War Horse", was commissioned by Texas Representative Molly White. I was honored as one of fifty western artists for 'The Party' Sale and exhibition in 2015 at The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, TX. I worked as a Master Highlighter for world- renowned 'Painter of Light' artist, Thomas Kinkade, from 2001 through 2004. I traveled nationwide to associated art galleries for special events. Two of my paintings were shown in Monterey, CA. at the Thomas Kinkade Art Museum.
In 2001 I established my small business, Heavenly Hoofbeats; in 2022 I rebranded to Tricia Ehman Fine Art. Around that time I moved from Houston, TX. to Lindale, TX. and have joined The Palette of Roses Art League and Lindale Chamber of Commerce.
